Your Own Plasma for Skin Renewal
A PRP facial, often called a vampire facial, uses platelet-rich plasma prepared from a small sample of your own blood. The plasma is applied to the skin with micro-needling to support collagen production and skin repair. At Aliza Clinic, every PRP procedure is performed by Dr. Shaista Sayyed under strict hygiene protocols.
What PRP Can Help With
- Acne scars and uneven texture
- Fine lines and early signs of ageing
- Dull, tired-looking skin
- Enlarged pores
How the Procedure Works
- A small blood sample is taken and spun in a centrifuge to separate the plasma.
- A numbing cream is applied for comfort.
- Micro-needling creates tiny channels while the PRP is applied.
- A soothing serum and sunscreen finish the session.
Recovery and Sessions
Mild redness for 24–48 hours is normal. Most people need a course of about 3–4 sessions spaced around 4 weeks apart, with results building gradually as collagen develops.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is a PRP facial safe?
Because it uses your own plasma, the risk of allergic reaction is very low. It is not suitable for everyone, so Dr. Shaista reviews your medical history before treatment.
Does it hurt?
A numbing cream is applied first, so most people feel only mild discomfort.
When will I see results?
Some glow is visible within a week. Improvements in scars and texture develop over the following weeks and across the course of sessions.
